Spending New Year like a Loser

The best way to spend the almost-New Year day is to eat mochi~!! moom mom moom *chewing mochi *mochi is a rice cake

aah! But!! I didn't took a picture of my homemade mochi. I left my phone in the car and it is currently outside - I'm too lazy to retrieve it.

I will however show you this picture

This is a picture of me after celebrating with my friends. I love that shoes.

It cannot be used anymore because it's too old. My friends laughed at me when I wanted to glue it together so I threw it away.

I wanted to buy a pair of new shoes in white just like this one but I found myself in shortage of money. I had been feeding guest and spent a lot this week.

Maybe I'll receive my payment from a commission I made for a customer. She pay me next week (I hope...) oh!!!

A : All the time. I would always imagine myself travel at an isolated place away from the busy city.

Q : 2. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

A : Extrovert, (°∀°)b I enjoy talking people's ear off. Thought there are times when I would want to be alone when reading, listening to music or stuff

Q : 3. Which do you prefer: Traditional art or Digital art?

A : I prefer Digital art. Its easier and saves a lot of paper (°∀°)b , and there's no eraser dust! Cleaner world and working environment! hahaha

A : I do ヾ(＠°▽°＠)ﾉ . The funny Gatsby face cleanser commercial, where a boy wins 1st place at drawing self-portrait by tracing his oily face onto the paper. The other one is a commercial of moist absorber, where 2 old ladies dance at their verandah in rain coats.

Q : 5. Have you ever pictured a music video in you mind while listening to a song?

A : Sometimes. Occasionally it becomes an inspiration for me to draw.

Q : 6. How many languages can you speak?

A : 6 languages. English is the only language I'm fluent at. The other languages I had learned is only at novice stage where I can only say basic phrases ; "my name is...", "where is...", etc etc... I also learned sign language and recently learned how to say "I'm going to the bus station to buy a ticket to go home." (≡^∇^≡)

Q : 7. Have you played a game so difficult that you can't even get off the training session?

A : Never. I usually got so into playing a game and ended up playing it for hours until I'm very good at it (^▽^;)

Q : 8. Which do you prefer: Vanilla, Strawberry or Chocolate?

A : Tough decision!! Maybe Vanilla. I would prefer them all actually

Q : 9. Do you like raisins?

A : Nope. I would find it disturbing if I found it in my bread or dessert because I have sensitive teeth. Biting it is a pain

A : Never in my coffee. But always in my tea

A : In order. I hate messy rooms, I would always get into a fight with my family and friends if I found that their rooms are messy. This made them hate me so much hahaha (^ε^)♪ How can you search for stuff if the room is messy?

Lazy Mangaka Days

I'm too lazy to draw baaah~!!

There I said it! Its no fun to draw, its not like anybody would miss it if I'm missing just for a couple a days huh~

Now I'm just hanging around going drunk with concentrated sugar drinks uh! I only want to lay around doing nothing in my traditional Chinese princess dress and eat pastry all day.

ｷﾀ━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━!!!

yeah! its like a day off for a very lazy mangaka me

yesterday I even made banana pie with cream and choco sauce. Hmmmm~!!

It was soo good! and so easy to be made! as soon as I laid 4 banana pie down on the table, it was attacked by 3 hungry piranha!! (my brother, Nene and mama lol!)

and the previous days I made lemon pie, chicken pie, meat pie... chicken and meat pie... and there's no more instant pastries for the pie!!

Tomorrow's project is to go buy unsalted butter, semi sweet choco chip and pecans to make choco chip cookies. maybe We would get this at Tesco, also gonna buy more instant pastry... muhuhu!

I promise I draw something when I get the inspiration from heaven. oh~ heavenly divine inspiration!!!!

Chibotts Tricked Me!!!

My sister owns a spoiled cat named Chibi. She found Chibi 8 years ago as a small helpless kitten in a drain, crying for help. Kago described; Chibi was so small that she could fit in the palm of Kago's hand, thus giving her the name Chibi meaning small in Japanese.

Chibi growled, shook and hissed to Kago. But Kago took Chibi home anyway... After several days of nursing, Chibi becomes healthy and happy again. Being the only cat in my sister's care, Chibi turns out spoiled.

Chibi would always want a second helping of cat's cookies in her bowl. She curls at peoples feet and would lead the way to the kitchen. If we follow her, she would circle around the bowl and look at us with a very sad face. This trick of her works every time! As time pass, Kago realized that Chibi is getting fat. (Around this time Daddy gives the nickname Elephant Chibotss to Chibi for being too fat.) Kago becomes immune to the sad-face trick and refusing to give Chibi additional snacks or treats. Only a small serving at 7 a.m., 5 p.m., and 11 p.m.. This might seem cruel but it was for Chibi's own good. Chibi loose weight rapidly but not yet enough to be an average sized cat.

This is Chibi's picture taken recently this year（･ε･) after going through a strict diet.

This make Chibi very frustrated and upset. Sometimes Chibi even went as far as tearing Kago's paper work and scratching the sofa as a sign of protest. This is something uncommon since Chibi only scratch card box boxes and basket prepared for that purpose. But scolding was the only thing Chibi received from Kago, and Chibi would scramble to hide under the bed.

Last weekend I spent my holidays at Kago's place. I woke up late (around 10 a.m. ) only to found that Kago already left for work and Chibi curling at me begging for food. Chibi ran towards the kitchen where her bowl would be, looking back to see that I was not following her, she came back and circled around my ankle and ran to the kitchen again. I understand that she was saying "FOOD!!!" when she meowed loudly to me with round eyes. I sent a text through my phone to Kago asking has Chibi had eaten breakfast.

Mama was nearby and saw the whole thing. She finally said to me, "Oh Karu, give Chibi something to eat. Just a little would do. I feel anxious just looking at her!"

Fat Chibotss was delighted when I was pouring a half scoop of cat cookies in her bowl. She yelled MEOYWK to me when chewing a mouthful of cookies. (・_・;)

It was until 11 a.m. when Kago text back to me, "I already gave her this morning! Don't be fooled by Chibi's sad eyes! If so, give her only 5 (small) pieces. Hi hi!"

I rushed towards the kitchen to snatch those cookies back from Chibotss bowl, but it was too late... (-з-) Chibotss gobbled everything till the last crumbs. I stood in the kitchen only to helplessly watch Fat Chibotss licking her coats of fur beside the empty bowl.

Chinese Wedding

Hi everyone! this is my waitress report! ( ^^ )/

Last thursday, our restaurant was turned into a chinese restaurant. and that it was a chinese wedding theme.

this is Darling hanging the decoration before the restaurant was opened

i was a bartender during this time. i made chinese and green tea during operational hour.

i was praised for making very good tea yeah!!ヾ(＠°▽°＠)ﾉ

but the restaurant was a disaster. some customer were unhappy with the service

the food was not good (the waiter and waitresses had to taste it themselves after operation hour)

the fried rice was burned and the soup was too sweet. the chefs are not used to cooking else than western food. so it was carelessly done.

some of the decorations almost fell onto a guest's head. and the chinese instrumental music was mixed up, a funeral chinese song was played when guest were dinning.
(although guest's did not notice because some of them are not chinese) (-。－；)

i feel very depress these past few days.

because last tuesday when i was in kitchen hotel, i felt ill when standing so i sat on a chair.
the common rule for a chef is that to never sit while working in a kitchen

although i got permission from head chef and other senior chefs. and so a chair is always provided for me anywhere

some of my friends felt unhappy about this and called me names

..................they called me wheely chair!! <（ｉ Д ｉ）>

they said to me "you ought to get yourself a wheelchair if you're going to sit all the time"
and that because i always sit at my work place even when i as a chef or as a waitress.

(this is me as a waitress)

i always wear my body braces and i am working hard just to stand! how can they said that to me?!

so cruel!! uh uh!! *runs away

remember in the previous post i showed my hand all bandaged?

its because i was clumsy in kitchen hotel, i burnt my hand ( - o - ; )>
it does not heal completely yet but its fine now

this is a picture 3 hours after i got injured. on the white area, i could not feel anything

on my right hand, i got burned on my thumb, on my index finger and on my palm.

so i remind everyone to be very careful in kitchen uh!!!

hi everyone! this is me spending my days in the pastry kitchen ヾ(＠°▽°＠)ﾉ

i made a lot of cakes with other fellow chef in training.

cake is so easy to make!!
first we mix mixture of flour, eggs, butter and baking powder

and then baking it in giant stove mwahaha!! (^O^)/

and we wait.......... (- з -)

the cakes are out! - cooled, and put cream all over it yum!(●´ω｀●)ゞ and on top is blueberry jelly and on the side are crushed nuts.

we made so much cakes. some of it we brought it home, and the others we gave it to the other workers and people around the school.

everyone was so happy (°∀°)b

i cannot draw for a while. sorry. i can try but it might turned out bad

i got injured in hotel kitchen last tuesday-_-

i was cooking mushroom sauce for pasta, but the stove was full. everyone was using it.
i saw one unused stove but with a frying pan. the handle for the pan was not suppose to be hot but it was...(unlucky)

the handle for the pan is a bad insulator of heat, but chef Yon was careless and place the handle towards direct fire. my hand got burned

other than my hands, i also got bruised on my right arm. chef Yon cutted his finger. many other chefs got small injuries also. we were running in the kitchen because time was limited!

i understand the pressure in iron chef . fufufufu

my pasta turns out bad for i cannot hold the knife afterward. i did not cut the chicken and vegetables for pasta. the mushroom sauce was also bad. i was scolded by chief chef and the kitchen supervisor. i wanted to throw away the pasta for i was angry, but chef john ate it for me. he did not want me to get upset. i was happy.

i was given holiday for i cant work anymore. but i cannot cook for myself, i ordered pizza.

then i eat fruit salad, cocktail salad and chicken salad. i make bento myself in kitchen hotel.

5 star meal in my bento. this is sad food for a sad person.

it looks like a jungle with crazy animals in it. i didn't expect it to turn out like this...

the gravy was separated in a bottle. it is meant to be eaten with the broccoli.

this is how karu's class looks

A: his height is around 179(tallest dude in class). smarty pants A always gets high marks. rarely talks to people. his best friend is feng and charlie

feng: a shy boy - rarely talks to people. the teacher likes to tease him a lot because of his height. always walk with A when going home.

Jirou (jie rui): excellent in his studies. good in maths and other science subjects. he doesn't talk to other people that much. but he always talks to me.
*my friend thinks it's romance. fcuk no.

*i don't know what his name is : the class president. rarely talks to people. likes to be with A and feng. niwa hates him because he doesn't work hard even when he is the class president. always panic if things doesn't go well in class

Frank(y): a skinny dude -very quiet. never talked to him. never stood so much in the class - very hardworking. occasionally works in his dad grocery shop.

Ha zhi: talks to much - sometimes his very annoying. likes to wonder in the library with charlie. he's in the school acting club - once took a role as a devil in a school play on teachers day.

Charlie: a skinny dude that eats a lot. always pick a fight with me about studies. very good in his studies - helped me with my homework (seldomly). ocassionally scolding me for not doing my homework.

*i don't know what his name is: i hate his hair. so messed up. i hate his clothes. he once punched me on the shoulder as if i'm his "guy buddy".
he got my punch too in exchange. joined the school acting club. got a role as a devil in a school play.

Jim: a nice dude. shares his diary with his girlfriend. a very socialized person. he sticks with susu a lot in computer class.

Susu: he's in the tae kwan do class. an annoying computer geek. around 176 cm(2nd tallest dude in class) - likes to read online comic in computer class. hates me eating pocky.(?) knows how to talk gibberish Indian language

Ron: a tall guy. - sticks around with susu all the time. helped me a lot with my homework.

Yin (M): voted as the school role model. -i don't see anything special in him. -he always skips school and rarely did his homework. i can't understand why he receive such title. he admits that he wears spongebob squarepants boxer.

*i don't know what his name is: a very annoying person. his hobby: likes to make jokes out of nothing. -not a tall person., -short- he's in the acting club - got a role as an angel in a school play.

Wawa: very good in mathematics. talks a lot about her life. she always gives me a private tutor on mathematics subject.

Yui: a funny person. i like to tease her about her height. got 3 other sibblings in the school that looks just like her. -but her younger sibblings are much taller than her *strangely... -kuku's best buddy

Honey: a dreamy person. likes to steal others food during lunch. always steals my stuff and give it back a couple of months later. -likes to immitate others. -a loud person. admires zack effron. school acting club - as a "mysterious voice" in a school play.

this morning, mama bought 4 bento at a shop near our house. the bento was ridiculously small so mama bought 2 for me, 1 for her.

"what about the other one? who is it for?" i asked mama

"it's for charlie you silly."

"you once said to me that charlie wanted you to buy him a bento. you can give him this one today."

"but ma - giving a boy lunch seems very very odd. people might misunderstand."

"nonsense. just give it to him and it will turn out all right."

but in the end, when i got off the car i only took 1 bento and ran off. ma was yelling at me saying that i forgot charlie's bento. no ma, i purposely left it.

that night i brushed my teeth and tried to get some sleep. it was the hardest thing to do since my sisters and i talked all night in our room. it was our last night being together, so it can't really be helped.

kuku: kuku had gone quite fat. i hope she'll grow thin soon. always eat together during reccess

cheetah:make-up gang. has a PE pants with her name "CHEETAH".

niwa:the class vice-president. she doesn't talk much - likes high school musical

nadia:make-up gang. occasionally talks with her about hair and nails.

ana:make up gang. has a pink bag as nadia. rarely talks to her

rina:make-up gang.spoke to her 7 times in 2 years(counted in diary)

rei:a cheerful person.i like to bully her occasionally.

pin mei/p :one of the chiasmata gang. a chatterbox - talks alot. there was one boy who tried to put a frog in her bag because of her mouth during reccess.

inai:chiasmata gang. i wish i got her mathematic skills. hardly speaks to her

ai shi:chiasmata gang. sits next to me in chemistry lab. helped me a lot during chemistry

merry-me:chiasmata gang.covers her mouth alot.dislike to be tickled and cheats a lot during examination along with honey/horney.

kenken:resembles the face of a good friend of mine.untalkative. a stingy person and cares for every last penny. she often share her food with me though.

nai xu:sits next to kenken, untalkative but talks alot with kenken

you know how people likes to decorate their lunchbox by cutting their foods into flowers or animals? well i learned how to cut sausages into cute sea creatures( through a book i found in a bookshop.) :) and it turned out to be really cute!

firstly, i cut the sausage into crab, octopus, shrimp and squid shape. i also cut out cute little eyes for them.

the little eyes of the squid can be seen in this picture! :D

secondly, i threw them on the pan. it was cooked without using any oil. *obviously, it's a nonstick pan.

*wah! that one got burned!

i noticed that as it started to get cooked, the legs of the squid, crab and octopus spreads from time to time.

the results:

aniki ate the one with the shrimp shape(the 1 at the bottom right) and the not-so-cute octopus shape with only 1 eye or cyclops octopus.

the cyclops octopus was not cute at all!

i actually made a total of 9 sea creatures. but aniki ate 3 of them when i was cooling it on the table.(i don't know if he was hungry or something) so in this picture there's only 6 left.

*uh~ that one(at the most bottom left) got no shape. i missed that one.

a waste of my time

i had experience pain chest and slight but random breathing problems the last couple of days. it was really confusing when i first felt that my chest is aching. ignoring it as much as possible i was. as i thought there is no use telling this to my parents and it is not pity that i want from them. they are now too excited about their plans to travel to europe. travel away! and leave your daughters in pain.

my eyebrows tends to twitch from time to time when i feel that my chest is in pain, i tried not to do so too frequently. just now, i sneezed a little, but it hurts me so much that i did not dare to speak nor i am in the condition to. taking a long and deep breath are the least things that helped me now as it quite torturing.

very little my parents knew about my health. trying to convince them that i am now suffering agonizingly from pain is just a waste of my time.

i kept on trying to believe that the weather had done this to me. the atmosphere had gone chilly these last few days. it had been raining a lot and the streets had been flooded with water. every time i looked outside the window, including now, i can't barely see the sky. the dark clouds has covered it all. i was hoping to see the blue skies smiling at me.

nothing more i could ask from my parents. all i can do is take care of myself and keep on breathing.

terrible headaches and stomachaches

yesterday, early in the morning i woke up and jumped out of bed. i took my warm shower, combed and tied my hair tightly. as i was starting to wear my school uniform, i felt sick. i sat down on a chair and hope it would go away sooner or later. after a couple of minutes, i stood up again. but i felt dizzy.

as mom was busy ironing her clothes, i walked to her and told her that i felt ill. she stared at me for a while and then continued what she was doing. i thought to myself ,"what was that?"

"so?" i asked her, feeling rather annoyed.

as she was ironing, she said,"you go into the kitchen, grab a couple of medicine and swallow it. quickly! you're going to be late for school!"

i stood there starring at her for a while. i was surprised and puzzled at the same time. "i'm still going to school?" i said to her with a rather surprised tone.

"of course you are. last year you tend to skip school a lot because of your trip to the hospital. now, you don't have any appointments anymore. so you're making yourself sick."

you're making yourself sick? that word echoed in my ears. i boiled with anger

"make myself sick?!" i said angrily. "you think i'm faking this so that i could skip school?!"

she paused for a while. "you are still to go to school," she continued.

i turned the other way and stamped my way to my backpack. i grabbed bag, wore my shoes, went outside and waited in the car feeling rather mad. mom came out after a couple of minutes with the car key and drove the car. i stayed silent in the car as i was still furious with her, and most of all i had a terrible headache. when we finally arrived at the school, mom said,"if you're still feeling sick, you can come to the teachers room and meet me."

i pretended not to hear that. i jerked out of the car and walked away.

when i was at school, i suffered terrible headaches and stomachaches. i tried not to look like a sick person. i tried to smile and laugh all i can as usual. when i was in physics class, i felt as if i'm going to pass out. i was sweating and my hands were cold. i was trying to stay conscious as hard as possible so i drank some water from my bottle that i brought along. when the water reaches my stomach, my stomach aches so much that tears almost dropped from my eyes. thank goodness nobody saw me at that time. everyone was so busy listening to the teacher infront.

physic class was finally over. i gathered my stuff and stood up. as i stood, i felt like vomiting. i quickly sat again. when wawa came near me, i told her to wait for me. i rested for a while and tried to walk again. at this time, i asked wawa to hold my stuff for me. going down the stairs was a real pain. when i finally reached the second floor, i REALLY REALLY felt like vomiting. while closing my mouth, i told wawa to go on without me. we said our goodbyes and i was left alone. i rushed to the teachers room, but when i was trying to open my shoes i felt really sick that i opened the nearest trash bin and vomited. i wiped my mouth with a tissue from my pocket but i kept on vomiting for the 2nd time. i closed the trash bin and looked around. i'm really glad that nobody saw me, it would be really hummiliating if somebody did saw me. i successfully opened my shoes and entered the teachers room. i vomitted again for the 3rd time in the trash bin after a couple of steps in the teachers room.

i found my mom. there was still a couple of hours left till school ended so i had to wait until school was over. i slept at my mom's table for 2 hours. when school was over, i still felt some pain in my stomach but i manage to walk to mom's car and went home.

this morning, mom knocked my door and told me to get ready for school again.

"i'm still sick! what part of that you don't understand?!" i fought back.

she glared at me for a while. she noded and said,"make sure you do a little studying when you're at home." she walked away and i felt really satisfied as i said that to her.

i don't really know why she did that, the going-to-school-even-when-you're-sick. this isn't the first time. the last time when i had a terrible fever, she still made me go to tuition class. my friends at tuition were shocked and said that my mom doesn't love me. when i told her that after tuition, she simply said,"of course i love you, that's why i sent you to tuition class even when you're sick."

my vacation pictures

during my vacation,i took a picture of my reflection at a mall. my mom were checking out some bed sheet while i had to wait and entertain myself with my dad.

those are my favorite shoes. ( ' v ' )

we had breakfast at one of my mom's friend house. i thought that the breakfast table was beautiful with all the elegant tea sets, so i took a couple of pictures to remember. <3>

this is my cup of milk tea. it was hot, so i was waiting for it to cool down a little bit.

when i was still at her house, i linger into the kitchen with nene and daddy.(something smells good so we went to check it out)

i guessed it was something like caramel. the thing is when i asked one of the maid, she said it's made out of sweet potato. sweet potato caramel? never heard of it...( -_-;)

when my family and i went for a walk around the town, my daddy points at this tree with its branch almost fallen out but somehow it's just stuck there. the tree branch is really dangerous especially when it's above a road where people are walking. it could fall any time and someone might get hurt( ' o ' )!

we(mama, daddy, kago,nene and i *no aniki- aniki went with his friend) went to a restaurant with my mom's friend to eat. the restaurant mostly have Indian food(since it's an Indian restaurant). so i didn't eat much since im allergic to spicy food ( ; _ ; )

this was my drink and the drink was good though. it's an ice blended kiwi with taste-like-coffee jelly on top. there's still one or two left in the picture. kago's hand can be seen in the picture.

my family bought sushi at jusco for dinner. when it was placed in a plastic bag, my daddy kind of swing it. so the sushi turned out to be crazy. but then my mom arranged it back together and it looks normal again. haha...
